Hi, my name is Hayley. I have been involved in the Flower and Gift industry most of my life. I grew up just outside Levin. My family had a commercial flower-growing business. They grew just about every flower that it was possible to. As a child, I didn’t appreciate the life that I had. Only now that I am older do I realise how lucky I was! Surrounded by flowers and every pet possible it was just my life.
I worked with flowers from the time I could walk. Helping dis bud Carnations in the greenhouses, planting seeds in cell trays, and picking and bunching the flowers for the Flower Auctions. Sundays we would sell the flowers in Wellington at a Grower’s market. I am so lucky to be able to work within the industry I love. I worked as a florist for several years but have ventured into the Gift Hampers. We have an extensive range of living plant Gifts. Keeping my green fingers.
